Self love, Self Care

You have to nourish your mind, body and soul to ๐’ป๐“๐‘œ๐“Š๐“‡๐’พ๐“ˆ๐’ฝ.

Nursing is truly an art form. It takes us to places physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually that we may or may not have been prepared for. Our capacity to care for others is like no other. We are fuelled by our ๐‘’๐“‚๐“…๐’ถ๐“‰๐’ฝ๐‘’๐“‰๐’พ๐’ธ hearts, our ๐’ธ๐‘œ๐“‚๐“…๐’ถ๐“ˆ๐“ˆ๐’พ๐‘œ๐“ƒ๐’ถ๐“‰๐‘’ souls and our ๐’ท๐‘’๐’ถ๐“Š๐“‰๐’พ๐’ป๐“Š๐“ minds. In โ€œhumanly accompanyingโ€ our patients we give a piece of our hearts and souls and because of that the need for self care, self love is ๐“ฎ๐“ผ๐“ผ๐“ฎ๐“ท๐“ฝ๐“ฒ๐“ช๐“ต.

Never underestimate the need for self care. Itโ€™s what rejuvenates our mind, body and soul. Itโ€™s what helps fill the broken pieces of our hearts, gives us time to show ourselves that we matter, and allow ourselves to refill our own cups. What ever your self care is allow for those pauses, those resets because it is essential to your emotional, physical, mental and spiritual wellness. Yes it is an honour to care for others but first make it an ๐’ฝ๐‘œ๐“ƒ๐‘œ๐“Š๐“‡ ๐“‰๐‘œ ๐’ธ๐’ถ๐“‡๐‘’ ๐’ป๐‘œ๐“‡ ๐“Ž๐‘œ๐“Š๐“‡๐“ˆ๐‘’๐“๐’ป.
